Our client is an independent securities business offering institutional and corporate clients leading investment banking, research, sales and trading services. They are currently hiring for a junior Settlements Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with client onboarding processes
- Distribute and collect client onboarding documentation
- Client static data entry
- Provide support with client payment instructions
- Provide support with client transfer of assets
- Undertake client instructions where assigned
- Provide cover for the Settlement Department when called upon
- Build and assist with maintaining client relationships and service providers
- Ensure that all firm wide policies and procedures are adhered to
- Possibility of business travel between the Liverpool and London office
Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:
- Experience in an administrative role is essential, ideally within Financial Services
- Prior experience liaising with corporate stakeholders/clients would be advantageous
- Educated to minimum of A-level or equivalent
- Previous exposure to or a basic understanding of stockbroking practices would be desirable
- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexible approach to work, along with the ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as the ability to organise work to meet tight deadlines
- Eager to enhance knowledge and motivated to undertake professional qualifications
- Organised, rigorous and disciplined with excellent attention to detail
